Empowering Women workshop

Last Friday, 21 April 2023, the Khazimla Project hosted an Empowering Women’s workshop at Victoria Park High School , and we’re so grateful to have had 80 Matric girls from 6 schools: Victoria Park High School, Alexander Road High School, Andrew Rabie High School, Otto du
Plessis High School, Cillie High School, and Linkside High School in attendance.
The workshop covered a range of topics, including CV writing, using social media to your advantage, mental health, and the importance of fitness. We hope that the valuable insights shared will help our young women develop their skills and confidence as they move forward in their lives.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who made the workshop possible, VHS for the venue, the speakers (Susan Gieselbach, Nomahlubi Hewitt-Coleman, Siphosethu Jwaqu, Liesel Fourie, Nikki Hynch, Shannon Eckleyand Kim Halgreen) and the schools for their support. Together, we are taking steps towards empowering young women in our community.
